LEAD Methodology

Creating transformative change in an organization requires a shift in mindset as well as a relentless focus on metrics. Based on over 60 years of combined experience in improving organizational performance, our principals have developed the LEAD Methodology to provide clients with a reliable and proven path to achieve both.

The four components of our LEAD Methodology are:

Listen – Enduring solutions can only come from an accurate and complete understanding of the problem. By listening to the organization, we gather important facts about the true nature and extent of the problem. Going beyond just listening to stakeholders, we assemble data to get a balanced and complete picture, much like a skilled physician would do in diagnosing an ailment.  The approach results in a fact based understanding of the problem that needs to be solved.

Engage – Organizations, like the people who constitute them, are naturally resistant to change. The change must therefore be presented in a compelling, non-threatening manner to enable people in the organization to opt in to the change. They must understand why opting out or obstructing the proposed change are unnatural responses. Engaging them requires candor, facts, and an invitation to actively participate in the change.

Align – Improving performance requires a clear enunciation of an organization’s objectives and the metrics necessary to measure their attainment. Objectives must serve as the guidance system -- powered by technology-optimized processes – and driven by people. Success comes from integrating business processes with technology, and unleashing human capital to drive toward continuous improvement.

Deploy – Our solutions produce results. The reason is simple. By Listening, Engaging, and Aligning the organization, we establish the foundation on which solutions can be implemented – and accepted – by the organization. We don’t pretend to have a monopoly on creative solutions, but our quantitative analysis of an organization’s performance, culture, and operating context enables the implementation of optimal solutions.
