About ICP

ICP's heritage is from PriceWaterhouseCoopers consulting practice (acquired by IBM in 2002). We established PwC’s Six Sigma practice and delivered transformative change to early adopters like GE Capital, Allied Signal and Caterpillar. We then saw the need to improve performance at mid-size organizations and created ICP to focus on this market segment.

Principals

Gerard Sequeira

Gerry has 20 years of consulting experience and has delivered results to multinational clients and, more recently, to non-profit organizations including NCARB and NBME. Prior to founding ICP, Gerry was a Director at PwC’s Six Sigma practice and led the development of the framework used in client engagements. 

Gerry has a MBA from the Darden School and a BS from the McIntire School (both at at the Univ. of Virginia). Gerry has worked internationally and understands cultural complexities in improving organizational performance.  Gerry plays tennis, enjoys skiing and serves on the board of the Arlington Soccer Association. 

Dick Smith

Dick has over 30 years of experience in delivering Organizational Transformation and Operational Excellence programs to clients. Dick was the US practice leader of PwC's Lean Six Sigma practice (since acquired by IBM). Dick co-authored the book, "Strategic Six Sigma - Best Practices From The Executive Suite", detailing how Six Sigma drives Operational Excellence across large organizations.

Dick has a BS in Marketing from LaSalle University; and has attended Executive Programs at the Darden Business School and the Tuck Business School (Dartmouth). Dick volunteers with various non-profit organizations and races BMWs for relaxation.

Jerry Blakeslee 

Jerry has over 30 years of experience focused on delivering Six Sigma programs to Fortune 1000 clients. Jerry was a partner in PwC's Lean Six Sigma practice and led several organizational transformation engagements in the US, Asia and Europe.  Along with Dick, Jerry also co-authored "Strategic Six Sigma - Best Practices From The Executive Suite".

Prior to consulting, Jerry was responsible for power plant operations and quality programs at a leading US nuclear utility. Jerry has a MS in Nuclear Engineering from Penn. State and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College. In his free time, Jerry enjoys playing with his grandkids, fly fishing and golf.
